Quarter of Century!

Officially quarter of century on the 5th June 2012!
Feel like not wanted to admit that I'm such old, you know, quarter of century neh!
Who ever wanted to admit that they're old? Lol!
This year nothing much different from previous year, except that I've got cake! Not only one but TWO! Lol!

From the Bafutians, advance bdae celebration at Poh Loong @ 3rd June 2012

From my babe, Ashlee, just a moment ago at Nando's

Back from Pangkor, the gang decided to have dinner at Poh Loong before headed back to KL, thus steambot we go! And I've never expected them to celebrate with me though, considered it was still early, and very surprised when they did it! They really surprised me, the forever smart one without me being suspicious to any of them!

Just look at the surprise face of mine! Ahahaha~ One word, priceless! I still remembered, I was telling the boyfie, who sat next to me that, "Look, there's someone bdae!" which I thought is the behind table of us! But surprisingly the lady was walking towards me with a bdae cake! Omg! Feeling blush because the place is pack with a lot of peoples! Nevertheless, I did appreciate for the Bafutians for this lil surprise! Thanks everyone and you know who you are!

So, today, on the exact of my birth date, my bestie celebrated with me at Nando's just a moment ago! Thanks to her for a simple celebration, the meal and the cake! A cake without a candle yet with a candle after her creativeness as usual! Hee! Torchlight will be replaced by burning candle and off it went after the fake blowing cake ceremony! Wtf! One of something special at least in my 25th! And I will always remember that! Lol!

So, what about the boyfie? Guess everyone will point this question to me! As usual, he is not a romantic guy and I've give up on hoping or wishing for something special from him! Not to say I've give up on him but just that, I know he will definitely did better or at least, I know how much he cares for me of all the time! He gave me this!

Something which is more practical and something that I love! Never thought that he is so detailed and remembered I did complained about my skin is dry after Pangkor getaway and he bought me this moisturizer as my bdae pressie! I know I'm so easy contended with such a small pressie but at least a sincere heart of a sender will make me become a happy receiver! I'm just as simple as that!

Look at him, the background of the gift! I told him to hold that and I wanna take a photo of him holding the gift but he refused, thus secretly captured that when he was obsessed with his tower defense! Aahahaha!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, thanks for everyone's warm wishes and regards via SMS, FB or personally called me via phone to wishes me bdae! Nothing much I can return back but a sincere thanks and appreciated the effort of remembering and drop me some wishes although FB did alerted everyone that is my bdae today! At least, the effort of scribing something at my wall does matter! THANKS!!! :)

NEETs in Malacca [Part1]

The NEET 1st destination of holiday-ing is in the historical town which is Malacca!
Being a NEET for almost 5 days, finally, my first vacation is in Malacca with the Badminton Superstars' gang (several of them). Yeah, the gang that I've mentioned in my previous post.

We departed at 6am from Kampar's mcD and before reached, we stop at Seremban for breakfast.Visited Seremban's famous Siew Pow and they bought some to have a try on it.

We reached Malacca after few hours drive and we did get lost few times before we reached our destination. Thanks to the GPS system that we had relied all the time, it definitely helps a lots! I think I need to get one too if I would be driving in KL. I remembered on the first day we reached, we wasted a lots of time just to find our lodging place, we searched up and down, and I think it took us almost 2-3 hours just to find our lodging place. End up, we gave up and proceeded to our 'jalan-jalan cari makan'. This is because instead of insisted to find the best suited lodging place for 8 of us, we might end up doing nothing on the first day!

Had Malacca famous chicken rice ball for our lunch, but I'm not sure whether I went to the authentic one or just another random imitator of the chicken rice ball. It was my first try on the chicken rice ball, and I found it was not bad, or perhaps I was too hungry?

After our lunch, we walk around ...

We walk, and walk, eat, and eat...

Later at night, we had satay celup in Jln Ong Kim Wee... and not forgetting the thrilling Day 2 in A Famosa as well as our last day in Malacca...
Er, guess I should resume my post later on in next post.
This is because the NEET will continue her journey to KL tomorrow to meet with her beloved , and she seriously need a good sleep tonight!
Good night peeps, and good luck for Mika in her last battle later at 9am.

Tawau - Part 2

Basically, this post is about some local delicacies in Tawau that I thinks it awesome
As promise, this is the Indo Cafe that we went on a random day to have our tea-time,  about the specific location, I don't have any idea, but I tell you, they served the best ever uniquely 'pisang goreng'. The uniqueness of the 'pisang' is when they served added with gula melaka and shredded cheese.
OMG! It's heavenly yummylicious I can assured you =)
I personally ♥ 'pisang goreng' topped with gula melaka + cheese =P

 Closer view of my

Besides, they also served several types of 'pisang goreng' but we ordered those highly recommended and   hearts by the peoples there. Another type is 'pisang penyet'. Normally, they will crush the banana and then flatten it and fried it to achieve the crunchiest state and it can dipped with sambal. Those sambal is more or less the same like those we can find in 'nasi lemak'. It wil not be my favorite cause it is not sweet. Personally, I feel that eating banana must be sweetened or sweet, if not it will be weird. But, not harm giving a try :P

 -'Pisang Penyet'-

Dessert, this is the freaking awesome yummylicious mango sago that I ever tried.
Words can't describe the awesomeness of it. The plus point is, I'm a mango lover, and this definitely is in my top list of dessert that I ever had =)
I don't even think I can find this in West M'sia. *Disappointed*
Hmmm, what I can do is to have second attempt before flying back to West M'sia to compensate my craving for it.

 -Mango Sago -

Coming to Sabah never have seafood is kinda waste, and we are so fortunate that ShiaoPing's aunt, who is staying in Tawau gave us a treat at Kam Ling Seafood Restaurant. According to my Cheryl, this seafood restaurant is the most grand in term of it expensiveness. The foods served was fresh and there are a lots of variety of seafoods we can find in that restaurant, and some even have funny name.

-It this kind of grouper common or exist?-

Till here... and I gotta fully enjoy my last day in Tawau with those kind of awesome delicacies!!!

Tawau - Part 1

Tawau vacation as per-scheduled has already reached, and yes we are going to rock Tawau, and too bad someone ffk-ed us which resulted only 3 of us heading to Tawau with our host, Cheryl and several of her Tawaurian :) Our flight was on 3th of Jan and basically, we wasted the 3th with TI-LCCT-TAWAU which took us roughly about 12 hours ++

And as now, is Day 3 me and my friends had been staying in Tawau, in Sing Onn, which is Cheryl's house, that is pretty relaxing and comfortable, and close to mother nature. I likey

Recapping events or activities throughout our vacation until today is not an easy task, because I have a smaller space of memory installed in my mind but luckily, photos that been captured enlightened me a lots!

Tuesday - 4/11/2011
4th in the morning, had Cheryl's favorite Soto at Kopi Yuan Yuan, Megah Jaya. According to her, that place we went for our soto is her favorite that she thinks is the best, and she bought several of West Msia's friends before us, and they all claimed it was best and like it very much! However, 3 of us find it was so-so. Heh, she must be disappointed!

 -Front of the shop-

I don't eat beef thus I ordered Seafood Soto. Seafood soto comes with variety of fresh hand-made seafood, such as prawn balls, fish balls and fish slices. Soto give me the impression of a Malay's delicacies because when I was in primary school, my school canteen do selling soto, and mostly Malays heart them a lot, I guess. However, it was indeed a nice try :)

-Beef Soto-

 -ABC (Ass Burning Chili)-
Indeed spicy hot and interesting for chilli's lover

4th in the night, we had steambot buffet at Daily Q. Food was great and most important, it was big, fresh and yummy. I had most of the crab and shell-ish seafood and their own home-made fish ball. It was QQ, and I likey

 -Eat all you can-

 To be continued...
*Indo Cafe's banana and mango sago and both are my FAVORITE
* Sang Yuk mee (er, should I repeat?)
* and etc....

Tomorrow's highlight : Borneo Semporna Proboscis River Cruise. Hope it will be interesting :)

Shopping ♥ Shogun ♥ Movie

tThe next day, which is 15/12/10 before he starts off his new career in Accenture, Ray brought me to Sunway for glutton-ing, shopping and movie purposes. Indeed a caring bf he was because he knew that the following day he will not able to bring me go around, thus we spent our day fruitfully on that day =)

We reached Sunway around 11am, and since we wanted to go for Shogun which their buffet will only be operated at 12pm, we went for shopping and he got his hair-cut. I managed to get myself some new apparels, which are two pieces of lovely floral vintage-ish dress.
the dresses and of course him a lot, cause he bought that to me =)
Photos are not shown as Imma lazy to capture and I don't have a nice camera to shoot, and which results the photos below are so in low quality. My w705 seriously is not getting any better in capturing photos but still there are handy when I don't have camera. Er, if you notice the post we in Genting-KL, the photos all are taken by my sis's digital Sony TX-5.
Can I  have a camera for my christmas wishlist? * Santa Claus, can you hear me?!* Lol!

Ok, enough for crapping, I shall continue. Before we went for Shogun, we went to Krispy Kreme to have donuts to fill up our growling stomach. Original glazed is always my favorite though it is simple with just sugar coating it. Other than that, it never get into my nerves as Krispy Kreme, is rarely available in the place I am living now. If you asked about Big Apple, I got at least top 5 favorites :P

Notice the hair-cut that he got for himself? He's been complaining and until now, he is still complaining, which you can see it in his quite latest status in FB.

We at Shogun before start to glutton =)

The varieties food we had, and of course, there are lots more, perhaps due to my priority is just on the food, this is consider better already compared to TAO *giggles*

After glutton-ing, shopping and so on, is time for us to go for movie. I been always wanted to watch the new movies that will be screening soon which is on 16th Dec 2010 featuring my favorite, 'Xiao Xiao Bin', but that day is only 15th! Hmmpph, and I hope TI will be screening it, or else I think I will get my butt up to Ipoh for that =) We went for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of Dawn Trader. It was still a nice movie though I don't get to watch the first and second of Narnia movies.
We went home right after movie because he needed to prepare for his stuffs for his job the next day.

The day is fun with his companion, though sometimes, he likes to mess with me, makes lame jokes and makes me angry. Well, sometimes he is just so adorable when you seeing him acting like a child. I you a lot, Ray Chow! Do you me too? Lol!

Everything is just so wonderful when I'm with you

Is HOLIDAY again

Exam for Year3 Sem2 is officially ended 13th of December 2010, which means I will have a month plus of holiday before marching into the real final semester of my degree in Utar Kampar. Anticipating to get graduated because friends around me are either graduated or already working for at least 2 years. Hmmmph..

Ok, Ray come and find me and together we back to TI before headed to KL as we planned before I finish my exam. Thanks god that the time pretty matched up cause he just resigned IBM and was very free until today, he started his new career in Accenture. And me coincidentally, finish my exam just on the right time.

After a day in TI, dinner with his family and going back to my home to meet my beloved family, we went to KL on 14th. We reached around 3pm plus in the evening and went for our lunch. He brought me to Subang USJ19, and we had steambot at 100°C Steamboat, Teppanyaki & BBQ Restaurant.

100ºC is a unique restaurant which offers diners more than 10 different types of steamboat soup to choose and more than 20 different varieties of sauces to dip. All this make it special especially when we have our own individual pot of steamboat, thus making it more convenient and hygienic. All their steamboat ingredients are freshly prepared daily making it irresistible just by looking it. I personally love their own hand-made fishball. Feeling so QQ :) Is a must-try!

That night itself, we went to Snowflake with another gf of mine, ShinYing. I was buzzing at his ear a lot until he have to bring me to go though he complaint a lot. He complaint that is very traffic jam, but hell yeah, I don't care cause I don't always get my butt up to KL, and the reason why I always wanted to go to Snowflake is because I heard a lot about this place that selling yummylicious Taiwanese dessert.
Seriously, I in ♥ with snowflake bestseller. Just now I went for the second attempt, thought to tried the other such as taroball series cause I love taro balls. So chewy~ But to my disappointment, it was not as good as when I had it with the bestseller's version.

This beeping UFO is given to us and when it "light" at the above photo, means your dessert are served and ready to be taken =)

The above is the 'snowflake bestseller' which combination of "grass jelly series" + "taro ball series".
The bottom one is grass jelly series which the combination of set 4(Red Bean+Taro+Pearl)

That's the end of my first day at KL.  Wanted to update for the next day, but I guess I can't because I need to wake up at 5am later, so, is best to sleep now :)
Tomorrow will be shopping day again, but sadly, alone. FML betul :(

Yes, I am always lucky and blessed when I have YOU beside me
